History of R.C.C.G

The founder of the r.c.c.g was late rev. Josiah olufemi akindayomi and his date of birth was on 5 July 1909 and the time was 12:00am. His address was udo Alafia street ondo state. He was baptized in 1927 and joined the cherubim and seraphim in 1931
The name of his wife was pastor Mrs Esther Egbedire Akindayomi 
They both came to Lagos in 1941 and got married in the same 1941 in cherubim and seraphim.
They both left cherubim and seraphim in 1952 and started Egbe  ogo-oluwa (Glory of God) with twelve men and the church metamorphosed into R.C.C.G(Redeemed Christian church of God)
Late rev. Josiah olufemi Akindayomi died in 2 November 1980
In March 1981 pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye with the total of 40 parishes started the R.C.C..G  after the death of late rev. Josiah olufemi Akindayomi 

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was a professor of mathematics and thermodynamics in the university of Lagos 
He was born on the 2 of March 1942. He is also a guest speaker of many church conferences and conventions all over the world
He is married to pastor(mrs)Folu Adeboye and they are blessed with four children and many grandchildren children in addition to the millions of spiritual children all over the world.
There are about 800 R.c.c.g in USA 
200 in Canada
50 in Mexico 
Several thousand of churches in Africa 
120 churches in Texas, and in many other part of the world.
There were three promises God made to Late pa Josiah  olufemi Akindayomi 
1)He will meet the church on his return
2)R.c.c.g will be a model to other churches and to the world
3)other churches will come to learn and worship in this church 

1)To make heaven
2)To take as many people as possible with us to heaven
3)To have as many members of the R.c.c.g in every family of the world 
4)To accomplish No.1 the condition is to make holiness our lifestyle 
5)To accomplish No.2&3 we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries within five minutes driving distance in every town.
These are the visions and mission of R.c.c.g
